Saint Francis Medical Center Pink Up Cape Video

When breast cancer claimed her mother’s life in 2000, former Southeast Missouri State University women’s volleyball coach Cindy Gannon founded Dig for Life to help other women fight this disease.

Dig for Life is a series of fundraisers to educate women in the region about the importance of early breast cancer detection though regular mammography screenings. Sponsored by Saint Francis, Southeast Missouri State University and private donors, Dig for Life provides mammograms to area women who otherwise would not receive this important screening.

How it helps:

Through your generous donations, the Dig for Life program provides more than 400 free mammograms annually to patients at Saint Francis Medical Center and Black River Medical Center. Each $100 raised provides the crucial screening to one local woman at no cost to her.
